“ Great for a ‘back to basics’ Basque experience with lots of wood, grilled meats, hearty Rioja if you’ve fed up with the more genteel and hipster options in Biarritz. Good for families too. Neither the cote de veau (thin with lacklustre sauce) nor the cote de boeuf (tough) were great but our starters were all excellent - chipirons, tuna tartare and croquetas especially. The rum baba was a thing of Magnificence. I also like the fact that the two brothers are very much present and orchestrating the show. ”

Our dish is ideal for sharing, perfect for 2-4 people I had the most tender squid I've ever eaten — absolutely unforgettable! The artichokes tasted incredible, like they were cooked over a real fire. The croquettes were so soft and creamy, just melting in your mouth. Plus, with the tomato juice, they brought out tabasco and some seasoning, which was a really nice touch. Highly recommend this place — everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great! ”
